Marshall Stanton

Marshall is directly accountable for Catalina’s worldwide service delivery and customer experience.

He oversees a diverse, talented workforce of nearly 400 employees across the U.S., Europe, and Japan who are responsible for delivering tens-of-billions of highly-targeted consumer offers that drive more than $750 billion in purchase value annually.  Previously Marshall was the Group Vice President, Global Operations at Catalina, responsible for the company’s proprietary in-store and digital marketing channels.  Marshall joined Catalina in April 2016 and brought with him a strong background of over 20 years of experience in general management, client service, operations, product leadership, and marketing.

Formerly Marshall was the Senior Vice President, Client Services and Operations for Aimia (TSE: AIM) and was the head of the Customer Loyalty organization within the U.S.  In this role, he led the Customer Loyalty team, helping consumer-facing brands such as Nordstrom, the Kellogg Company, Procter & Gamble, Carlson-Rezidor, and Avis build better relationships with their customers by leveraging the latest technology platforms, analytics insight and customer experience expertise across a diverse spectrum of industry verticals.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Planning and Operations Management for Experian Marketing Services (LON: EXPN), leading the cross-channel marketing business which generated $225 million in revenue.  He started with Experian Marketing Services as the Vice President of Client Management and Delivery, overseeing all client-facing functions for their Data Management Services business.

Marshall also held a variety of operations and technology leadership roles at The Nielsen Company (NYSE: NLSN). Most recently he was the Vice President, Delivery Services for the North American Consumer business unit, working closely with global brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, and Unilever.  Marshall led the turnaround initiative of Nielsen’s North American Media business unit as the Vice President, Strategic Program Management, and held a variety of leadership positions in Nielsen’s client operations and data management functions.

Earlier in his career Marshall held leadership roles at publicly-traded industry leading companies, as well as successfully launching a series of start-up technology companies.

Marshall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has also studied global leadership and management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Unternehmensführung (WHU) – Otto Beisheim School of Management.  In addition, he is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership’s Developing the Strategic Leader program, and has been a member of Mensa International since 2001. Marshall was appointed to the University of Tampa Board of Fellows in 2017.
