Shigeharu Hanazaki is President of Catalina Japan, responsible for all aspects of the company’s Japan business, including strategy, service innovation, operations, partnerships, and customer relationships with retailers, manufacturers and brands.
Shigeharu has extensive senior management experience in Japan’s technology, digital media, digital marketing industries. He has also held management positions in the U.S.
Prior to joining Catalina, he held senior executive positions with Ryoyo Electro Corporation and led the digital marketing business at Mitsui & Company. This included leadership roles as president and CEO of AOL Platforms Japan, a joint venture between Mitsui and AOL, and Linkshare Japan, a joint venture between Mitsui and Linkshare, an affiliate marketing company that is now part of Rakuten. He also worked as General Manager of Mitsui USA’s IT/Internet business. While at Ryoyo Electro, he served as the Senior Executive Officer for the company’s IoT business.
Shigeharu holds a BA in Economics from Tokyo University. He also completed an executive management program at Kellogg Business School of Northwestern University.
