EVP, Chief Data Officer

Dak is responsible for leading Catalina’s global data and analytics teams, leveraging and enriching the company’s unique data assets to help CPG retailers and brands effectively address the rapidly-changing omnichannel needs of consumers.

Working alongside Catalina’s U.S., Europe & Japan Go to Market organizations, Dak and team are focused on providing clients with a deep, holistic understanding of their customers through real-time, data-driven insights. And, as the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds blur, Dak and team are increasingly focused on enabling a seamless experience for consumers no matter where they are along the path to purchase … regardless of channel: online, in-store or on a mobile device.

Whether it is visualizing data through business intelligence, enhancing marketing performance or even leveraging the advancements of machine learning, Dak builds strategic partnerships with customers to increase lift and loyalty to drive their business forward.

Since joining Catalina in 2007, Dak has applied his deep knowledge of customer management strategies; IT; operations; database management and analytics; and database marketing to a variety of roles, including leadership of global data and analytics; global retail solutions; product management and innovation; and U.K. operations. He has worked with a variety of global retailers, including Tesco and Sainsbury’s (UK), Delhaize (Belgium) and Loblaws (Canada).

Before joining Catalina, Dak served as director for Convergys (formerly LBM Direct Marketing Limited), and in a number of roles with dunnhumby including global business development director and client solutions director.

Dak graduated from University of Central England with a B.Sc. in Business Information Systems. He holds three registered patents.
